Lessons along the way...

I just wanted to share my new source of peace about this whole land development issue. (First, I'll let you in on the status: the City's Mayor is behind us now & pushing for us to have the "go ahead" by March 19 - we'll see!) :)

I had to make the call to the pastors whose churches are sponsoring an upcoming house on Tuesday of this week, when it became inevitable that we could not begin on the land in the set timeframe. I was very nervous to make these calls because I hate to let anyone down, so I took it to prayer.

During my prayer time, I had a realization where I feel that God was telling me: "I've given you some great successes with your job recently to teach you that you can do it & build the confidence you lacked. Now I'm going to teach you something else - you are equipped - you will have to give bad news in life, and now you'll learn how to do this, too."

I was so comforted by this! Honestly, I still had the 'jell-o legs' feeling of being nervous, but I wasn't afraid anymore. Praise God! He again taught me that He's soverign and will take care of us in our times of need.
